This is as close to a “do everything” lens as you can find. When I’m on a long hike, weight and size are a big issue. This lens solves those problems. I really hate changing lenses out in the dusty wilderness or when it’s windy anywhere; this lens enables me to leave it on the camera full-time.

Ich bin wirklich begeistert von meinem Nikon NIKKOR Z 28-400mm f/4-8 VR – für mich ein All-in-One-Traumobjektiv, das praktisch alle fotografischen Situationen abdeckt. Der unglaublich große Brennweitenbereich von 28 mm bis 400 mm macht dieses Objektiv extrem vielseitig – von weitläufigen Landschaften über Porträts bis hin zu Wildlife- oder Sportaufnahmen ist alles möglich.
Trotz dieser enormen Flexibilität ist das Objektiv relativ kompakt und leicht (ca. 725 g), was ich unterwegs sehr zu schätzen weiß. Es sitzt angenehm ausgewogen an der Kamera und ist ein tolles „Immer-drauf“, ohne dass man sich bei längeren Shootings schnell ermüdet fühlt.
Der Bildstabilisator (VR) leistet hervorragende Arbeit: selbst bei längeren Brennweiten lassen sich die Aufnahmen aus der Hand erstaunlich ruhig und scharf festhalten – ein echter Vorteil, wenn man keinen Stativplatz mitnehmen möchte. Die Autofokus-Performance ist schnell und leise, was im Alltag, bei Natur- oder Actionmotiven wirklich spürbar ist.
Natürlich gibt es bei einem Superzoom-Objektiv wie diesem optische Kompromisse – etwa ist die maximale Lichtstärke bei 400 mm mit f/8 nicht ideal für sehr schlechte Lichtverhältnisse – aber gerade für meinen typischen Einsatz draußen bei Tageslicht war das nie ein Problem.
Was ich sonst noch super finde: die Naheinstellgrenze von nur 0,2 m im Weitwinkelbereich, wodurch auch schöne Detail- und Nahaufnahmen gelingen, und die handliche Gegenlichtblende, die das Objektiv auch bei Gegenlicht gut im Griff hat.
Insgesamt bin ich rundum zufrieden mit diesem Objektiv. Für mich überzeugt es durch seine Flexibilität, Zuverlässigkeit und hochwertige Verarbeitung – und es ist garantiert ein Objektiv, das täglich im Einsatz ist. Ich kann es uneingeschränkt empfehlen und würde es jederzeit wieder kaufen!

Top Objectiv, klare Kaufempfehlung. Ich nutze das Objektiv mit der Z50II. Einstellung für die Testbilder war automatik. Die Ergebnisse sind hervorragend. Die Bilder sind nicht nachbearbeitet. Die Belichtungseinstellung musste ich nur bei schwierigen Licht-Schattenbedingungen korrigieren. Teuer aber sehr gut. Ich habe es als Urlaubs und Alltagsobjektiv gekauft. War eine gute Entscheidung.
