The Canon RF 28mm f/2.8 STM lens is a compact, versatile Prime lens for Canon EOS-R line mirrorless cameras. With a fixed focal length of 28 mm and a maximum aperture of f/2.8, it is ideal for travel, city and everyday photography. The lens features three aspherical optical elements, a 12-pin electronic system for improved communication with the camera and an adjustable control ring. It provides continuous autofocus with its STM focus motor, but has no image stabilization. The lens has a minimum focus distance of 23 cm and a viewing angle of 75°. It consists of 8 elements in 6 groups and has 7 membrane blades. The lens is not compatible with DSLR cameras and has a filter thread diameter of 55mm. It weighs 120g and measures 7 x 1.9 cm.
